Mr. Sarfraz Khan Jatoi, advocate for the petitioners, who are also in attendance.

 

Mr. Naimatullah Bhurgri, State Counsel, alongwith Inspector Asad Nabi Khichi, the then SHO of PS Darri, Larkana.

                             ------------------

                   Petitioners through this petition have sought the following reliefs.

a)                 To restrain the respondents from disturbing the matrimonial life of petitioners and they may further be restrained from causing harassment for the petitioners.

 

b)                 To direct the respondents No.1 & 2 to provide protection to the lives, liberty and property of the petitioners and to protective marriage in accordance with law.

 

c)                  Award costs of the petition.

 

d)                 Any other equitable relief be granted to the petitioner.

 

 

          2.       On the notice, SIP Mushtaq Ahmed Jatoi, former SHO of P.S Darri, Larkana and D.P.O, Larkana had already filed their statements.  Inspector Asad Nabi Khichi, who is presently posted as SHO of P.S Darri, files his statement verified on oath, wherein he has stated that the petitioners will not be harassed in future and that they shall be extended legal protection.  Inspector Asad Nabi Khichi, who is present in Court, reiterating the same statement undertakes that no harassment will be caused to the petitioners and they will be provided protection whenever needed to them.

          3.       In view of the above position and after going through the statements of the police officers available on record, learned advocate for the petitioners states that he is satisfied and, therefore, he does not want to proceed further with this petition and he prays for its disposal, stating that the grievance of the petitioners stand  ventilated. 

          4.       In view of what is stated above, this petition is disposed of in the above terms.  Order accordingly.
